Windows Phone powered Sony smartphone still in discussions with Windows

Sony has just confirmed to TechRadar that they are still in discussions with Windows over Windows Phone. According to Sony Mobile head, Pierre Parron, Sony is in talks with "other partners, including Microsoft".



Perron said that they don't want to be a single OS manufacturer. Sony recently has only launched Android-powered device and their VAIO series notebooks are cooperate with Microsoft.


So far there's no any exact date that Sony will release a Windows Phone powered smartphone but there's a rumor pointed that Sony will launch a Windows Phone device in mid-2014.
