The HTC Butterfly has landed Malaysia and it priced at RM 2,299. According to Cubic Platforms – who is responsible for HTC Concept Stores in several locations including Sunway Giza, Gardens Mall and Pavilion KL – the humongous Android smartphone is officially priced at RM 2,299. Furthermore, limited amount of units will heading their way to HTC Concept Stores in Gardens and Pavilion tonight.
The HTC Butterfly was first announced as J Butterfly in Japan and Droid DNA for U.S Verizon network. It running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and upgradable to v4.2 soon. The Butterfly also powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The phone are proud of it 5" 1080p Full HD razor sharp display. It has a f/2.0 8 MP shooter at the back and 2.1 MP front-facing shooter at the front, both front and rear camera are able to shoot 1080p Full HD video. Other features include 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory that also support expandable memory via microSD card up to 32 GB, Beats-audio enhancements and 2,020 mAh non-removable battery.
