It's hard to find Vivo smartphone outside of Chinese market but it seems Vivo is now planning to expand its smartphone availability to other markets. According to our insider, the Vivo X3S is now available in Malaysia for just RM 1,399.
Our insider has also revealed that the first Vivo concept store in Malaysia will be located at LowYat Plaza. Specs wise, the X3S has a 5" 720p IPS display. The device is powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM.
At the back it has a 13 MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, while the front-facing unit is a 5 MP shooter. Both cameras are able to record 1080p videos too.
The device is running on FunTouch OS which is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Its measures 143.27 x 71.03 x 5.95 mm and weighs 150 g.
Juicing up the device is a 2,000 mAh battery and it should be last for at least one day with mobile data on for whole day.
For this price tag it is even higher than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+, which we reviewed last week. The Gphone Evo is now available in Malaysia too for RM 899 and it also comes with almost same specifications as the Vivo X3S. However for RM 1,399, you'll get a Vivo X3S with a Hi-Fi earphone.
