Huawei brought 6.1" Ascend Mate and a 5" Full HD Ascend D2

Huawei has finally unveils their flagships at CES 2013, the Ascend Mate and Ascend D2.

The Huawei Ascend Mate has the largest smartphone screen ever, a 6.1" 720p HD display but not 1080p Full HD which makes us disappointed. The screen are very sensitve and it is covering 73% of its front panel, thanks to the Magic Touch technology. The screen is protect by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.


The Ascend Mate has a 8MP camera at the back which can record 1080p video and a 1MP front-facing shooter. The phablet support microSD card for expanding built in storage. It also packing a huge 4050mAh battery that offer 9 days standby time at 3G network and 2 days "ordinary use".

The Ascend Mate also runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI. It has no apps drawer just like the iPhone. It also offer pop-up apps for improved multitasking and a one-hand UI for improved handling of dealer and keyboard when using only a hand.

Huawei Ascend D2


 

The Huawei Ascend D2 is another phone that packs with 5" 1080p Full HD display at 443ppi. It is also a IP54-certified for dust and water resistance. The ascend D2 powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It has a 13MP camera at the back that can shoot 1080p video and 1.3MP front-facing shooter.

The Ascend D2 was the first Huawei's flagship with 32GB internal memory and no microSD slot supported. It has a LTE connectivity and a 3000mAh battery. It is runs on Android 4.1Jelly Bean similar to the Ascend Mate.
