HTC One X Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5 UI rolling out now

After the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the One X+, HTC has finally rolls out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to the company first quad-core device, HTC One X. Back to last year MWC 2012, HTC had introduced their new flagship device - One X, the company first quad-core device and the device has brought to us some new features with it HTC ImageChip such as burst mode, video-pic (capture photos while recording video) and more. These features have now become every smartphone "must have" features.


The update is currently available to unlocked European version HTC One X owners, but we believed that the rest of the One X owners around the world will be get it in the coming weeks.


With Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the HTC One X is now runs on Sense 5 UI on top with HTC BlinkFeed home screen. There's also a new lock screen style widget and Quick settings panel, which brings 12 default settings by new touch gesture. The battery percentage is now available in the status bar and the Power settings have added sleep mode option.

The gallery app has been redesign with video highlights, which come with 12 different themes. There's also auto exposure and auto focus lock feature on viewfinder screen. Lastly, the music app is now available visualization with live lyrics.

The file size of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for HTC One X is 379.63 MB and the software version is 4.18.401.2.
