New Nexus smartphone leaks in Android KitKat statue unveiling video

It looks like the Android 4.4 KitKat statue is not the only thing revealed by Google today. A mysterious smartphone, sporting a large Nexus logo at the back has made an appearance in the unveiling video.



From the image above, the mysterious smartphone looks like a smaller version of a Nexus 7. Furthermore, a Google employee with a Nexus 4 standing beside the person with the unannounced handset helps us notice the size difference between the two devices.


Rumor suggest the next Nexus smartphone will be manufactured by LG using the powerful G2 as a base. So you can expect that the Nexus 5 could be having a 5.2" Full HD display. Another notable detail is the size of the camera lens which is rather big.

Unfortunately, we do not know the launch date of Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat. Stay tuned for more Google news.
