HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5.5 UI available in some European countries

Update: HTC_UK has confirmed that the update has started roll out across the European, Middle Eastern and Asian regions.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update was rolled out to U.S. variants of HTC One in recent weeks, but users that received the update are still sticking with Sense 5. Here's the news for the international version of HTC One's users. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is now rolling out in some European countries and the update does bring Sense 5.5 UI.

Sense 5.5

HTC Sense 5.5 UI was first run on the HTC One Max, and now HTC has begin rolls out the update to international version of HTC One. The update is currently available in several European countries and we believed that it will be available in worldwide soon.


The update is 675 MB big and updates the HTC One to firmware version 3.62.401.1, based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.5.

You can update the phone through OTA update and if you haven't received the update notification, you may need to wait for several weeks. To check the update, you can go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update -> Check Now.
