As you can see from the screenshots above, you can now finally disable the BlinkFeed if you don't need it. This feature is present on HTC One X, One X+ and Butterfly Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
HTC will add more new topics on the BlinkFeed and the update will allow you to add your custom topics to the feed. The following changes are:
- Home screen - Now you can disable or enable HTC BlinkFeed.
- New Android Quick Settings - Now you can rearrange the content of Quick Settings panel.
- Improved HTC keyboard - Possibility to add more emotions.
- Improved camera - New "Dual capture" and "Panorama+" features.
- Improved storage - Less memory for firmware memory.
- Improved recent apps panel - The recent apps panels are now bigger.
- New BlinkFeed categories, custom topics tab and minor changes to alarm clock.
Unfortunately, there is no word on the official release date of Sense 5.5 update, but we expected it will be available soon and the HTC One Max will boot Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 UI.
