HTC One (M8) launched in Malaysia for RM 2,399, Desire 610 and Desire 816 coming later this month

HTC Malaysia has officially announced that the One (M8) is finally available in Malaysia for RM 2,399. The One (M8) is the latest flagship device from HTC, which used to compete with Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2.

HTC Malaysia has also announced that the first 1,000 owners of the One (M8) will be entitled a HTC DotView Case (Worth RM149) for free. All you need to do is just fill up the form at here. Note that the offer only applicable to authorised sets distributed by Brightstar Malaysia.


Besides the One (M8), HTC Malaysia has also announced the pricing of Desire 816 and Desire 610. Both devices are priced at RM 1,199 and RM 999 respectively.

 

Both devices use nano-SIM and feature 4G LTE connectivity. The Desire 816 has a 5.5" display with 720p resolution. The Desire 816 is powered by 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5 GB of RAM. The device has 8 GB internal storage but luckily it is expandable via microSD card. The HTC Desire 816 is the first HTC device with 13 MP camera and 5 MP front facer.

The Desire 610 is almost same as the Desire 816, however it does come with smaller 4.7" display with lower qHD resolution. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 400 processor with quad-core CPU running at 1.2 GHz. The device has 1 GB of RAM for multitasking and 8 GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. At the back it has 8 MP camera with LED flash, and there's a 1.3 MP front-facing shooter too.

Both devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat with the Sense 6 UI, however we can only see the Desire 816 and Desire 610 by the end of this month.
