Huawei will launch the Ascend P7 in Malaysia on June 10th

The Huawei Ascend P7 was announced a few weeks ago, and previously the device is said to be launched in Malaysia by the end of this month. However, it seems that there's a little delay for the Ascend P7 to enter Malaysian market. Huawei will launch the Ascend P7 on June 10th, which is just less than a month.

The Ascend P7 has a 5" display with higher 1080p resolution and it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is slightly thinner at 6.5 mm and weighs 124 g. The device uses back glass design, and surprisingly it also uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 too.

The device is powered by HiSilicon Krin 910T chipset with 1.8 GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU, Mali 450 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.

The main focus point on the Ascend P7 is a 13 MP camera with a Sony BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Unlike other Android flagship devices, the Ascend P7 is only able to record 1080p videos instead of 4K resolution.

The 8 MP front-facing camera comes with 5-pieces lens coupled with IMAGESmart 2.0 software that boasts 10 level auto-facial enhancement and wide-angle photo function. Huawei has added a feature calls groufie, which is able to shoot group selfies.

Juicing up the device is a 2,500 mAh battery that is capable of enduring 404 hours of 4G stand-by time and 14 hours of talk time. The phone charges up to 100% in 3.5 hours using the included charger.

The Huawei Ascend P7 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 2.3. The new UI comes with a new permission manager, revamped Do Not Disturb mode and new power saver regime.

No word on its pricing but be sure to stay tuned.
