Lenovo officially launches the all new A and S series

Lenovo today has officially launched the all new A and S series, which were announced back to MWC 2014 and even earlier.

  

So let's begin with the A526, the A526 sports a 4.5" display with the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM. The dual-SIM A526 comes with 4 GB expandable storage and 2,000 mAh battery. It is priced at RM 469.

The next device is the A680, it has a 5" display with the same resolution as the A526 and 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM is also present in this device. The A680 priced at slightly higher at RM 499.


The last A-series that launched today is the 5" A859. The A859 has higher 720p resolution for its display and 1.2 GHz quad-core MT6582M with 1 GB of RAM. Unlike the A526 and A680, the A859 has 8 GB expandable storage, 8 MP camera and 1.6 MP front camera too. With the bigger 2,250 mAh battery, the A859 is priced at RM 719.

  

The S-series devices that launched in Malaysia today is the S650, S660 and S860. The S650 and S660 have 4.7" display with qHD resolution, 8 MP camera and quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. The only difference is the S650 has 2,000 mAh battery while the S660 has 3,000 mAh battery.

The S860 packs the highest-end specifications among other devices that launched today. It has a 5.3" 720p IPS display, same quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The S860 has an 8 MP camera and 1.6 MP front-facing shooter too. Juicing the device is a 4,000 mAh battery and it should be last for at least one day with moderate usage.

The S650, S660 and S860 are priced at RM 699, RM 749 and RM 1,169 respectively. It seems that Lenovo is ready to fight for the mid-range market with the latest A and S series devices.
