Measuring at 292 x 201.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 800 g, the Surface Pro 3 is not only the thinnest Intel Core device ever made, Microsoft has also claimed that the Surface Pro 3 is the tablet that will replace your laptop.
The tablet has a 12" (2,160 x 1,440 pixels) ClearType display with the 3:2 aspect ratio. Powering it is a 4th generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor. It also comes with a few variants - 64 GB or 128 GB storage with 4 GB RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB storage with 8 GB RAM.
The third generation Surface Pro 3 kickstand can be angled at up to 150-degrees, which is even better than its predecessor. It also features Full-size USB 3.0 port, microSD card reader port, Mini Display Port and Cover port.
The Surface Pro 3 has 5 MP front and rear cameras, which is higher than its predecessor. It also features stereo microphones alongside with stereo speakers with Dolby sound.
The new Surface Pro 3 does come with Surface Pen like its predecessor, it comes with palm block technology which allows users to have the same writing experience as a real notebook.
Meanwhile, Microsoft Malaysia has also confirmed that the Surface Pro 3 is coming to Malaysia end of August. No word on the pricing in Malaysia but the pricing for US market ranges from USD 799 (RM 2,572) to USD 1,949 (RM 6,274). Are you getting the Surface Pro 3 or the Apple MacBook Air, maybe?
