HTC launches One (E8) in Malaysia for RM 1,699

The wait is over, HTC Malaysia today has announced that the One (E8) is now available in Malaysia immediately after the press event that happened this morning.

The HTC One (E8) features similar hardware and features of the One (M8) but with more affordable price tag. It sports the same 5" 1080p Super LCD3 display with the pixel density of 441 ppi. The device hearts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with 2 GB of RAM.

The camera is different story, the One (E8) packs a 13 MP shooter instead of 4 MP UltraPixel and it lacks of depth sensor. However the front-facing camera is still 5 MP.

Juicing up the device is a 2,600 mAh battery and it supports Cat 4 LTE connectivity. The phone is running on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI out of the box. It comes with Motion Launch feature, which first introduced in the M8.

The HTC One (E8) will be available in Polar White and Misty Grey for RM 1,699, with Electric Crimson coming in October. HTC Malaysia has also offered the One (E8) DotView case for RM 149.
