Basically the Butterfly 2 is same as the One (M8), it sports a 5" 1080p Super LCD3 display with the pixel density of 441 ppi. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with four 2.5 GHz CPUs. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot for further expansion.
The camera unit is a 13 MP f/2.0 sensor with depth sensor accompanied with 5 MP front-facing camera. Both cameras are capable for 1080p video recording.
Unlike the Japanese variant, Malaysian unit Butterfly 2 BoomSound speakers will not be having “LiveStage Signal Processing Technology1”, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and bundled with JBL in-ear-headphones.
However, it is still rated at IP57 for water and dust resistance certification. The Butterfly 2 is now available in Malaysia for RM 2,299 with the color choice of Canvas White and Rouge Red.
