HTC One (E8 Eye) leaked via import documents

HTC has just unveiled the Desire Eye earlier this week, but it quickly followed up the one-two punch with the reveal of the One (M8 Eye). Now according to import documents from India, we have now learnt that a third Eye smartphone is on the horizon.



A couple hundred units have been brought to India. They come in a choice of two colours-Silver or Gray. The price that has been listed INR 27,275 (about $445), so a good guess that the final retail price would be around that of the original HTC One (E8), which is priced at INR 32,000 ($520) in the subcontinent.

What we don't know however is would the Eye version of the One (E8) differ from the original One (E8). What's been certain however is that it will be running the new Eye Experience selfie-enhancing software right out of the box, but that it will be seeded to the regular One E8 units eventually.

The One (M8 Eye) has sacrificed its UltraPixel camera in favor of a conventional 13 MP camera. However, the E8 has that right from the start. All the listing tells us is that the NFC would be dropped, but we'll just have to await official confirmation from HTC regarding the new One (E8 Eye).
