The Asus PadFone S was available in Malaysia since last week, and thankfully I've got it few days ago. The smartphone is aimed to take down many of its competitor such as Honor 6, Xiaomi Mi 3 and even Mi 4 with its low price tag but high-end specs. Asus claims that the PadFone S is a Super Phone with Super Price. Without going any further, let's just unbox it.

Unboxing
The version I got is the Dark Ruby color version as the Pure White version will be available at later date. Keep it in mind that this time Asus did not choose to bundle the phone with the PadFone Station, that's why its pricing is extremely low at RM 899. You can get the PadFone Station by adding another RM 499, which is quite reasonable.
The retail package is just like the ZenFone series, it's small and simple but nice. The box doesn't feel cheap and, yes, there are a few icons at the left side in the circles showing the features of the PadFone S.
And here's the device, as I mentioned just now, everything is same as the ZenFone series, but the device is different story.
The PadFone S comes with standard box package, you'll get the device, user guide, warranty card, AC adapter, MicroUSB cable and earphones. Yes, the earphones with ear bundles are included, which is what those affordable flagship smartphones don't have.
