Last week the HTC One E9+ was listed on HTC China official website. Today, HTC has announced a better version of the current flagship One M9 - HTC One M9+, as well as the E9+.
We already know about the E9+, so let's just skip to the M9+. The One M9+ has the same design language as its younger brother. However, you can differentiate both devices easily. The One M9+ now has a fingerprint sensor below the display, which looks a bit like Samsung Galaxy smartphones home button. The fingerprint sensor is touch-based instead of swipe type, all you need to do is just place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone.
Looking at the back, the Duo Cameras is back but the main shooter is still the 20 MP unit, while the UltraPixel sensor has switched to the front.
The One M9+ is the second HTC smartphone to have a QHD display, it has a 5.2" display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64-bit processor with 3 GB RAM instead of Snapdragon 810 processor which found on the One M9.
HTC BoomSound is still present on the One M9+ with Dolby Audio technology despite having a fingerprint sensor below the display.
The HTC One M9+ is running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI on top. No news on the launching date and the price in Malaysia at the moment. And the reason behind it using a MediaTek processor is still unclear.
