The Huawei Ascend D1 Quad is packing with 1.5GHz Quad-Core Huawei K3V2 processor, Huawei says that it will help to save battery life and allow your network to lock-on the D1 Quad quickly. It has a 4.5" 720p HD Toshiba screen with 326ppi pixel density.
The Huawei Ascend D1 Quad is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it's upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The phone has 8GB internal memory and support microSD card up to 32GB. The D1 also has a 8mp camera that can record 1080p Full HD video at 30fps, it also has a 1.3mp front camera that support 720p HD video call.
The Ascend D1 Quad audio quality is boosted by the Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound with Dolby Mobile 3.0 Plus. Road warriors will also enjoy quicker GPS functionality, as the Ascend D1 Quad supports both GPS and GLONASS.
All of it is powered by a 1800mAh battery. It is available now, and will come in carbon black and ceramic white.
Besides D1, Huawei also unveils Ascend G600 and G330, priced at RM799 and RM599.
The mid-range Ascend G600 is priced at RM799 and rocks a 4.5-inch qHD 960 x 540 protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Inside there is a respectable dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 768MB RAM.
The Ascend G600 has a 8mp camera but with 480p video recorder, it also offer 1.3mp front camera. Inside there is a 4GB memory along with a microSD card slot. Powering the smartphone is a 1930mAh with a Huawei power saving technology.
The Ascend G330 in the entry level fare here at RM599, it comes with a 4.0-inch TFT 480 x 800 screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Inside, there is a dual-core 1GHz A5 Qualcomm processor. You’ll also get a 5-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera with autofocus, 1080p HD video. In the front, there is 1.3-megapiel HD front-facing camera capable of capturing 720p video.
Inside, the G330 powered by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The phone supports HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and DLNA, and is powered by a 1500mAh battery.
