Huawei recently announce the Ascend D2 and Mate at CES 2013. The Ascend P2 is expect to announce in upcoming MWC with Full HD display, 2 GB of RAM, 3,000 mAh battery, 13 MP camera and a quad-core processor in a thin body.
The Ascend P2 will be running on Android 4.x Jelly Bean. According the rumor, the Ascend P2 are powered by 1.8 GHz quad-core processor, which although based on modern ARM architecture, is a homegrown design lacking the panache of a Tegra or Snapdragon. Still, assuming that performance is adequate, the use of in-house silicon should benefit consumers looking for top-of-the-line hardware on a budget.
