LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II leak before official announcement

LG is trying to do the second-generation Optimus L-series phone. The second-generation Optimus L-series are included the Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II. These 3 devices are expected come with hardware upgrade.



The entry-level Optimus L3 II will feature a 1 GHz single core processor from 800 MHz processor. It will be having the same size as the first-generation L3 but improved IPS display panel. The camera will upgrade to 5 MP camera from 3.2 MP resolution.

The LG Optimus L5 II on the other hand, will pack a 1 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX531 GPU - a serious update over the 800 MHz Cortex-A5 silicon of the first generation. The display is tipped to be a 4" WVGA unit, while the OS on tap will be Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Dual-SIM version are also expected on it.


Lastly, is the single-SIM version Optimus L7 II as the dual-SIM version already going on sale in Russia. Reports point at a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 1 GHz dual-core unit, Adreno 203 GPU, and 768 MB of RAM. A 4.3" WVGA display, 8 MP camera, 2,460 mAh battery, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean are also expected at launch.
