Acer Iconia A1-810 comes with quad-core processor, a budget tablet

French retailer Rue du Commerce is taking orders for a new Acer tablet - Iconia A1-810. It is still a unannounced tablet that featuring with some good specs.



Although the information of this tablet from Rue du Commerce have been deleted, but the images and specs about it have been recorded by some website.

The Iconia A1-810 has a 7.9" (1024x768 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8125 ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 1GB of RAM. The tablet has 16GB internal storage and support micro-SD card slot.

Iconia A1-810 also packs a 5MP camera and VGA front-facing camera. The tablet reportedly gets up to 7 hours of battery life thanks to a 3250mAh battery. It is also running on latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Iconia A1-810 is selling for €199 in France, it is cheaper than iPad mini which is priced at €339 in that country. The Iconia A1-810 is a challenging tablet between Nexus 7 and iPad mini. Unfortunately, there's still no information about pricing and availability of it in Malaysia, but expected it will be available soon once it is official.
