[Computex 2013] Asus announced Fonepad Note

Asus not only announced tablet, they also announced the new phablet - Asus Fonepad Note. The Fonepad Note was a 6" phablet with 1080p Full HD display.

The Fonepad Note is just like the original Fonepad, it is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with 2 GB of RAM, and there's also a PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU.

The 6″ Super IPS+ screen has 1080p resolution for a big increase in pixel density- 367 ppi vs. 216 ppi for the 7″ WXGA screen of the tablet. The screen is rated at 450 nits of brightness and works with an S-Pen like stylus and dedicated Asus apps.

The Asus Fonepad Note packs an 8 MP main camera and 1.2 MP front-facing camera. There are front-facing stereo-speakers, which looks like HTC BoomSound. The speakers use Asus’ proprietary SonicMaster tech for high-quality sound.

It seems like the phablet wars is getting more and more excited, we believed Asus Fonepad Note is another powerful challenger against the Galaxy Note II.

Unfortunately, we do not know any information about the availability and pricing of it in Malaysia. Stay tuned.
