The Asian version of Optimus G Pro is same as the Korean and American versions. It has the same 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the Asian version will only getting 16 GB internal memory but with microSD card slot.
LG Optimus G Pro is one of the most advanced smartphones currently on the market today. With its expansive 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display at 400ppi, the Optimus G Pro provides razor sharp images and wide viewing angles as well as a comfortable in-hand experience and great “pocketability.”
The Asian version camera will still features 13 MP resolution, 2.1 MP front camera, 1080p video recording, Dual Camera, Dual Recording, VR Panorama, Pause and Resume Recording, Smart Video, etc.
It has a 3,140 mAh battery to overcome the huge Full HD display and powerful processor. The phablet is running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with LG custom UX. We believed it can challenge the Galaxy Note II, Lenovo Ideaphone K900 and Huawei Ascend Mate.
Unfortunately, we have no information about the pricing and availability of it in Malaysia. We believed it will available soon in Malaysia and you may found it in any Brightstar retailers shop. Expected the price will be at RM 1,899 as LG smartphones are place at low price but well specs.
Updated: The Optimus G Pro will be available in Malaysia this month.
