The screenshots show that the Optimus UI doesn't changed too much, but it looks like LG has leave out the physical buttons and put the buttons to onscreen.



There's no any further information about the Optimus G2 but a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The onscreen buttons would also make it easier for LG to make the rumored Nexus 5.
Qualcomm and LG have confirmed that the next Optimus G-series will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. Other specs will be clear once the Optimus G2 goes official on 7th August LG press event.
