Sony announced Xperia M and Xperia M dual

Sony has just announced their new entry-level devices - Xperia M and Xperia M dual. The Xperia M and Xperia M dual have similar specs, the only different is Xperia M dual comes with dual-SIM supported.


The Xperia M has a 4" TFT display of FWVGA resolution (480 x 854 pixels, 245 ppi), it is powered by 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU, Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

Xperia M comes with 5 MP camera that capable for 720p video recording, there's also a 0.3 MP (VGA) front camera too. It also has a 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.

At connectivity side, Xperia M features dual-band Wi-Fi, 3G with HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and FM radio. Sony is advertising the Xperia M as a phone with "magical one-touch functions" thanks to its NFC connectivity and dedicated sharing apps. The Xperia M also offers 1,750 mAh battery.

The Xperia M runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sony custom UI. It will be available in 4 colours - Black, White, Purple and Lime.

Both Xperia M and Xperia M dual will be available in Malaysia in Q3 this year. We expect the pricing will be at RM 799.
