The Xperia Z Ultra has a 6.44" 1080p display with Sony's Triluminous and X-Reality tech. It has the pixel density of 342 ppi which is similar to the Xperia S and higher than Huawei Ascend Mate and Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. You can also use the pencil as stylus too.
The Xperia Ultra is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It is the fastest smartphone which even faster than Samsung Exynos 5 Octa-cores processor.
At the back, the Xperia Z Ultra has an 8 MP camera with 1080p video recording, the front camera stay same as Xperia Z 2.2 MP resolution. The phablet has 16 GB internal storage but you can expand it via microSD card up to 64 GB.
The Xperia Z Ultra has a 3,000 mAh battery with STAMINA mode, Sony claims that the Xperia Z Ultra supports talk time up to 14 hours, standby time up to 790 hours, music listening time up to 120 hours and video playback up to 7.5 hours.
The Xperia Z Ultra is also an IP58 certification phablet which allow you to submerged it up to 1.5 meters water level for 30 minutes. The Xperia Z Ultra is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a redesigned UI. It is measures at 179 x 92 x 6.5 mm and weighs 212 g, the Xperia Z Ultra is currently the slimmest Full HD smartphone.
Besides the Xperia Z Ultra, Sony has also announced the new SmartWatch 2 as the accessory for Sony smartphone.
The SmartWatch 2 supports NFC and Bluetooth connectivity, it works as an NFC watch with all smartphones using Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and later.
The SmartWatch has 1.6" LCD display with 220 x 176 resolution and it is build by aluminium and high polished plastics materials.
The SmartWatch 2 splash proof not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, water related work and fishing. So don't treat it as Sony Xperia waterproof smartphone.
