Sony Xperia Honami teaser image leaks

Samsung is holding an event on 4th of September for the second episode of Unpacked event, it is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note III. But before you're thinking the Galaxy Note III, don't forget that Sony has also holds an event on the same date to announce their latest flagship, Xperia Honami (probably will be another name after it is official). An official teaser images of Xperia Honami has showed up which reconfirming the date of the phone's unveil and hinting of a purple version.


The image doesn't reveal much details of the upcoming flagship device. The guys over at Digi-Wowho have a larger resolution version of it have zoomed in on it to discover the signature Xperia lock/power button. The side edges of the phone are also more rounded than the Z, which should help handling.



The Xperia Honami is rumored to feature a 5" Full HD Triluminos display with X-Reality engine, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 20.7 MP camera with Sony G-lens and BIONZ image processor, 16 GB internal storage and microSD card slot.

Also, the Xperia Honami is said to be IP57 certified for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options included Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi and supports GSM/UMTS/LTE networks.
