It seems that the upcoming Sony flagship device, codenamed Honami, is finally getting a new official name. The Xperia Honami is said to be called as Xperia Z1.
Additionally, a few press shots of the Xperia Z1 has also leaked, but sadly the shots is in low resolution, so we couldn't see it clearly. The press shots reveal that the phone will be available in three colours - white, black and purple. The phone also shares the glass back design as Xperia Z and Xperia Z Ultra.
The Xperia Z1 rumor to having a Snapdragon 800 CPU, it has already benchmarked today. It will also having a Adreno 330 GPU with 2 GB of RAM. The phone sports a 5" Full HD Triluminos display and it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sony's Xperia UI on top.
The camera side is the key selling point of the Xperia Z1. It has a 20.7 MP camera with Sony G Lens and a f/2.0 aperture, rumored to support a 4K video recording and it will backed up by a Xenon and LED flash.
Xperia Z1 is expected to unwrap on September 4th to 6th at IFA 2013 and also a regional launch that held in Malaysia. Stay tuned as we will bring more news of the Xperia Z1.
