LG announced 8.3" tablet - LG G Pad 8.3

LG has announced the new LG G Pad 8.3 tablet, which finally return back to tablet markets. The all-new LG G Pad 8.3 is the world's first Full HD display on an 8" class tablet. The new tablet looks like a serious contender for the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and Apple iPad mini.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has an 8.3" WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) display at 273 ppi of pixels density. The G Pad 8.3 is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The G Pad 8.3 has 16 GB internal storage space. On the back is a 5 MP camera and on the front is an 1.3 MP shooter.


The LG G Pad 8.3 has a 4,600 mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The G Pad 8.3 measures at 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3 mm, which is slightly more than Nexus 7 (2013). It also weighs a bit more at 338 g, compared to the Nexus 7's 290 g.

The LG G Pad 8.3 will be rolled out globally in key markets including North America, Europe and Asia as well as other regions starting in the fourth quarter of 2013. Prices will be announced at launch time.
