The Google nexus 5 rumored to make it debut in this month alongside with Android 4.4 KitKat. We have seen many leaks previously and this time the Nexus 5 leaked again showing that it running on Android 4.4 KitKat.

It's been long time that Google did not change the UI of its latest Android version since Android 4.0 ICS to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. But this time around, we're seeing the UI of Android 4.4 KitKat has changes a little bit.

From the photos above, you can see that the lock screen of Android 4.4 KitKat has been redesigned with fresh look, though the functions are almost same as Android 4.3 Jelly Bean - swipe to the right to access camera app and swipe to the left to access widgets.

The home screen of Android 4.4 KitKat looks better than previous vanilla taste. The navigation buttons below and status bar on top are now transparent. The apps drawer also looks different, there's no more tabs above for Apps and Widgets.

According to the source, they said that the device is fast and smooth, with a bright, colourful display and superior image quality thanks to the optical image stabilization.

Nexus 5 is expected to break its cover this month alongside with Android 4.4 KitKat. Stay tuned.
