LG G Flex goes official with curved OLED display

LG has finally announced their first curved display smartphone in Korea - LG G Flex. The LG G Flex will hit all three major carriers in Korea next month.

The LG G Flex has a curved OLED display on the front, it has a 6" 720p display instead of 1080p that found on the Galaxy Round. The G Flex has IMAX cinema-like horizontal curve in landscape mode will allow for an immersive experience when watching videos or playing video games.



Surprisingly, the LG G Flex features self-healing film on its back which can deal with minor scratches in a matter of minutes.

Other specs include 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13 MP camera, LTE-A connectivity and 3,500 mAh battery.

The LG G Flex is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it is measures at 160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9/8.7 mm and weighs 177 g.

No word on the global availability of the LG G Flex, guess it will only exclusive for Korean market.
