HTC Malaysia has brought three new Desire line-up to Malaysian market - Desire 601 dual-SIM, Desire 501 dual-SIM and Desire 300.
The first is the HTC Desire 601 dual-SIM, which has the highest specs among the Desire line-up. The Desire 601 dual-SIM is priced at RM 1,099 and it is available in Stealth Black and Polar White.
The Desire 601 dual-SIM has a 4.5" qHD display, 1 GB of RAM and 2,100 mAh battery. It is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI. The Desire 601 dual-SIM is also powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and it has 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.
And now it turns to the Desire 501 dual-SIM, which is priced at RM 799. The Desire 501 dual-SIM is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM.
The phone has 8 GB internal storage with expandable memory via microSD card up to 64 GB. At the back it has an 8 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture which is pretty similar to the One X. However it can only records 720p videos. It has a 2.1 MP front-facing shooter too.
Powering the phone is a 2,100 mAh battery and it is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ UI. The Desire 501 dual-SIM is available in pink and green colours.
And the last one is the Desire 300, which available in Stealth Black and Polar White for RM 699. The Desire 300 has a 4.3" WVGA display. It is powered by 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with only 512 MB RAM.
The device has only 4 GB internal storage but thankfully it comes with microSD card slot. It has also 5 MP camera and there's VGA front-facing shooter too.
The Desire 300 is not a dual-SIM device like the Desire 501 and Desire 601. Although it is not as good as the Desire 601 and even the Desire 501, but it still running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI which is more latest than the Desire 501 dual-SIM. Meanwhile the phone has a 1,650 mAh with promised 11 hours talk time and 625 hours standby time.
