Sony rolls out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z

After Sony has rolled out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra, the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z is also now available for update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.



The update is almost same as the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra Android 4.3 update, which bring the same features and improvements to the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z as below:

-Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
-Launched with Xperia Z1, Sony’s Smart Social Camera available to these devices
-Sony’s entire native app portfolio (Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select and more) get updated to the latest versions
-Sony’s Media apps: WALKMAN, Album and Movies, with Sony Entertainment Network cloud service integration
-The launch of our unique custom interface experience: “Xperia Themes”, with downloadable UI packs from Sony Select

-The latest Android security enhancements, matched with Sony’s mobile enterprise solution: Xperia in Business
-Updated Battery STAMINA Mode with refreshed interface and more smart options for prolonging battery life
-Increased user control for Xperia Tablet Z, with “Restricted Profiles”; option to create isolated, secure spaces with individual local storage, home screens, widgets and settings

To check the update, you can connect your Xperia handset to PC Companion. Mostly the update is now available in Malaysia.
