HTC M8 will be named as HTC One+ and powered by Snapdragon 805 SoC

The HTC M8 was rumored to have a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, UltraPixel camera, 2.1 MP front-facing shooter, 5" Full HD display and running on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI. However today there's a new rumor pointing that the successor of HTC One will be called as HTC One+ and it will be powered by Snapdragon 805 SoC.



The new rumor was reported by recognized XDA member, Mike1986, which provides more information of the HTC M8 a.k.a One+.


And here's the latest rumored specs:

  • 5" Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC
  • 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM
  • 6 MP or 8 MP UltraPixel camera
  • 2.1 MP front camera
  • Software buttons
  • 2,900 mAh battery
  • micro-SIM and microSD card slot
  • NFC connectivity
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI
We believed most of the consumers will be happy to heard that the UltraPixel camera with higher resolution as the UltraPixel camera which found on HTC One was pretty disappointing due to its lower 4 MP resolution.

The HTC One+ is said to be having microSD card slot too, and the device will be juicing up with 2,900 mAh battery due to the faster processor and larger display.
