Oppo has officially launched the N1, R1, Find 5 mini and Neo in Malaysian market. Oppo has officially stated that more to come from Oppo, Oppo is scheduled to open a flagship retail store in Plaza Low Yat, as well as open 9 dedicated service centres not just in Kuala Lumpur, but nationwide.
Oppo N1
The Oppo N1 is now available in Malaysia for RM 1,798. The device is powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2 GB of RAM. In front of it there's a 5.9" Full HD display and it doesn't have front-facing shooter.
The N1 has a rotating 13 MP camera, which means you can rotate the camera front and back. Sadly, it has only 16 GB internal storage without microSD card slot. The device has also O-Touch rear touch panel and it is running on Colour OS which based on Android 4.2.
Oppo R1
The next Oppo's device is the R1, which announced shortly after the N1. It comes with smaller 5" IPS display with HD resolution. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM.
Again the device has only 16 GB internal storage without microSD card slot. At the back there's 8 MP camera with promised good low-light quality and the 5 MP shooter is at the front.
The R1 is just 7.1 mm thick and weighs 140 g with the 2,410 mAh battery included. It is priced at RM 1,298.
Oppo Find 5 mini
Next is the mini version of the Find 5 - the Find 5 mini. The Find 5 mini is priced at RM 998 and its specs are included 4.7" qHD display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB expandable storage, 8 MP camera, 2 MP front camera and 2,000 mAh battery.
Oppo Neo
The last one is the entry-level Oppo Neo. The device has 4.5" IPS display with WVGA resolution, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB expandable storage, 5 MP camera, 2 MP front camera and a 1,900 mAh battery. You can get the Oppo Neo for just RM 598, which is RM 100 cheaper than the Moto G.
All four devices are running on Colour OS which is based on Android 4.2 and all will be available in Malaysia by the end of this month.
Meanwhile, the Colour OS 2.0 is coming soon and the next flagship to be launched in Malaysia in a few months. It seems that Chinese companies are getting more and more competitive in smartphone markets.
