Sony officially ends the software support for old Xperia smartphones

We know that every smartphone has limited life when comes to firmware update. However not every manufacturer will officially state that which smartphone will not getting any software support. Well Sony did a great job on letting all the Xperia users know whether their smartphone software support status. Sony has officially stated that which smartphone will not getting any software support.

These smartphones are included:

- Xperia S

- Xperia SL

- Xperia P

- Xperia U

- Xperia go

- Xperia Sola- Xperia J

- Xperia Miro

- Xperia Tipo

- Xperia Acro S

- Xperia ion

If you check back these devices support page from Sony Mobile official website, you will notice that those devices that we mentioned  above have Android version overview, which says "Latest & final version". It means that the device will no longer getting any software support.

Although it is a bad news but we appreciate that Sony Mobile has provided the information through their official website.
