The Sony Xperia G will be the first mid-ranger from Sony in this year. The smartphone is likely to have the same OmniBalance design as Xperia Z series devices. Today the live photos of the Xperia G have leaked alongside with Xperia Z1.
The first live photo revealed that the handset looks alike to the Xperia Z1, but it seems that the Xperia G won't be having waterproof feature as there are no flaps covered those ports like the Xperia Z1.
The second live photos revealed the back of the device, but some of the parts have been covered by Xperoa Z1. The camera lens is located at the center of the back of the device alongside with LED flash.
Specs wise, the Xperia G will be having a 4.8" display (expected 720p resolution), 8 MP camera, 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot and 1 GB of RAM.
No word on its processor but we expected it will using Snapdragon SoC. The device is likely to break cover during MWC 2014, which happening end of this month.
