HTC One, One mini and One Max will get the Sense 6 update soon

With the launch of the new HTC One (M8), HTC has also confirmed that the One (M7), One mini and One Max uers will also getting the Sense 6 UI treatment. The update is said to be arrived later this spring (March - May).



The update is expected to bring the same features which found on the One (M8) to these three One series devices. The Sense 6 UI has redesigned with customizable colour themes. The new Sense version also comes with some features, Motion Launch is a pretty significant new feature. When the phone senses movement it "listens" for prompts to launch particular apps or actions. The Motion Sense feature allows users double tap to turn on the phone and double tap to turn off the phone, which is pretty similar to the LG's Knock-On feature.

However, it seems that the older One, One mini and One Max won't get all the features that are currently available in the new One (M8).

No word on the rest of HTC devices including the Butterfly series - Butterfly and Butterfly S, but we expected both devices will get the same update too.
