HTC software updates plan leaks

Previously we have posted that the One, One mini and One Max will get the Sense 6.0 update spring. However a leaked table shows HTC software updates plan, and the table does show that the One 2013 series will be getting the update in June or July.



According to the table, the One, One Dual SIM, One Max and One mini will get the Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI in between May and July alongside with Butterfly S.

As for the Butterfly, it will be getting Android 4.4 with Sense 5.5 UI in April. There's no plan on the Sense 6 update for the Butterfly yet.


We already know the international One X and One X+ will not getting any update after the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0 UI. Surprisingly, the Android 4.4 update with Sense 5.5 for the Snapdragon-powered One XL is being evaluated.

The Desire 601 and Desire 700 should be getting the Android 4.4 with Sense 5.5 update in April. We do not know whether the update will be arrived to the dual-SIM variant, which is now available in Malaysia.

The leak hasn't confirmed by HTC, do note that the timetable may have changed or be completely inaccurate.
