Most people are now paying their attention to the all new HTC One (M8). However according to the Japanese media, HTC will announce the successor of Butterfly S just like what they did last year.
The successor of Butterfly S is codenamed as GLU2, rumor suggested it will sport a 5.2" display with the same 1080p resolution. Powering the device will be a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.3 GHz clock speed.
The device will have 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. At the back there will be the same dual-camera setup as HTC M8 with 5 MP resolution.
The GLU2 will powered by 3,000 mAh battery, which is downgraded from Butterfly S' 3,200 mAh. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI.
No word on the launch date of the device but we expected it will launch in sometime around August.
