Back to IFA 2013, Acer has announced the first smartphone with 4K video recording - the Liquid S2. The first 4K-capable smartphone is now available in Malaysia for RM 1,899.
The Acer Liquid S2 has a 6" Full HD IPS display (368 ppi) covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has a 3,300 mAh battery and it has 16 GB internal storage with 128 GB microSD card supported for further memory expansion.
The Liquid S2 is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM. At the back it has a 13 MP shooter with 28 mm wide-angle lens and a BSI sensor. The front cam features an ultra-wide 88-degree 24 mm BSI sensor of 2 MP resolution and 1080p video recording.
The Acer Liquid S2 is able to record 4K Ultra HD videos along with high-framerate Full HD (60 fps) and slow motion video. There's a panorama mode that produces up to 27 MP shots, quick first shot lets you capture an image straight off the unlock screen.
