New Samsung Galaxy Beam is in work

The Samsung Galaxy Beam was the first Android device to come with built-in pico projectors and it seems that the successor of the device is now in work.

The device was certified by Teena, which is a Chinese telecommunication equiment certification center. The new Galaxy Beam is expected to come with 4.66" display with the resolution of WVGA. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM.

   

The first generation Galaxy Beam was using nHD projectors (640 x 360 pixels). However, we do not have much information on the projector of the new Galaxy Beam.


The new Galaxy Beam will be having a 5 MP camera at the back with 1080p video recording. The device is able to expand the memory via microSD card. It will be measured at 134.5 x 70 x 11.7 mm and weight 165.5 g.

The device will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it will also available in China Mobile.
