Nokia X Hands-on

Nokia has announced the X, X+ and XL last week at MWC 2014. Thankfully, Nokia Malaysia has brought the Nokia X to Malaysia yesterday, and we manage to hands-on the device.

When we first hold the Nokia X, we felt that it is light but thick. The Nokia X has a 4" IPS LCD display with the resolution of WVGA (480 x 800 pixels). The colours are acceptable, the brightness and contrast are good enough.

The device is nice to hold, the build quality is good and the device isn't fingerprint magnet.

Nokia has added new colour to the Nokia X, which you can't normal see in a smartphone. The green Nokia X is nice and it looks special.

The Nokia X has a 3 MP fixed focus camera at the back without LED flash, it doesn't have front-facing camera too. We snapped a few camera samples with the Nokia X but for now we can't talk much about the camera quality.

The Nokia X is now available in Malaysia for RM 399. Meanwhile, Gary Chan, Head of Marketing, Pan Asia, Nokia, has stated that the Nokia X+ and XL are going to release in Q2 2014 worldwide. Currently no word on when will both devices launch in Malaysia but at least we know both are coming in Q2 2014.
