Ninetology and Qualcomm AirAsia aircraft livery marking an ASEAN wide expansion initiative

Ninetology has announced RM 180 million in revenue with 12% mobile device market share in Malaysia as of December 2013.

The company established its revenue target of RM380 million by the end of 2014, projected from its expansion plans into Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, as presented by Sean Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Ninetology ASEAN.


According to Sean, Ninetology has sold over 1 million units to date and have expanded into Indonesia as of September 2013, a partnership with Indonesia’s renowned singer and actress, Agnes Monica. "Our devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processors, a world leader in 3G, 4G and next-generation wireless technologies, to continue our efforts in delivering outstanding value to our consumers, as evident by our results for over the past two years," said Sean.



In addition, Ninetology also unveiled its recent AirAsia aircraft livery to mark its ASEAN wide expansion plans and launched its “so WOW for all” campaign which is an ongoing one year project to further expand Ninetology’s reach towards users and partners in the country.



The So Wow For All is a whole year long campaign where Ninetology aims to "wow" everyone. This campaign starts with the launch of Ninetology's latest model, the colourful U9J1 which is priced at only RM 199 and comes in four different colours - rave red, classic black, fuschia pink and neon green.

The U9J1 has a 3.5" HVGA display (320 x 480 px) with TFT technology. It is powered by 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor with just 512 MB of RAM. The device has only 512 MB internal storage but with microSD card slot up to 32 GB.

The U9J1 has 1,300 mAh battery with promised 6 hours talk time. The device is measured at 114 x 60.5 x 12.8 mm.

At the same time, Ninetology is embarking on a mission to engage with the mass digital community alongside social influencers, leading the way of digital media networking in Malaysia.
