The Find 7a has a 5.5" Full HD display and it is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display is using a technology, calls Super Screen 2.0.
The Find 7 is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16 GB and it is expandable via microSD card.
As for the camera unit, it has a 13 MP Sony IMX214 CMOS with a f/2.0 lens and LED flash. The camera also features Super Zoom mode. It takes 10 photos and merges them into a single 50 MP image. The device has 5 MP front camera for shooting selfie.
The "breathing" notification strip below the display acts as a notification for incoming calls, unread messages and email. Juicing up the device is a 2,800 mAh battery and it is capable of charging the battery to 75% in 30 minutes.
So what about the pricing? Surprisingly the Oppo Find 7a is priced at RM 1,598, which even cheaper than the Oppo N1. The pre-order campaign will run from April 16th to May 11th, and interested customers can visit any of these participating outlets around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor to place an order. However, you’ll need to make a non-refundable deposit of RM 100 to place an order. Furthermore, the first 500 pre-orders will be receiving a “premium gift package”, consisting of a Bluetooth speaker, screen protector and a phone case which totals RM 258.
