[Update 2] Bad news! LG Malaysia rep has now stated that “there is no visibility” on the G3 in Malaysia at the moment. It appears that LG Malaysia itself is not yet sure if the company’s flagship smartphone is coming to the country. LG Malaysia has also stated that the G3 is still on market research and planning in Malaysia.
Not long ago LG has took a wrap off for its latest flagship device - LG G3. The G3 is a powerful high-end device from LG, it is the first smartphone that comes with laser auto focus.
Just when we thought that Malaysian consumers will not be able to purchase the G3 official stock just like the G2, Nexus 5, G Flex and G Pro 2, it appears that things may be different this time round. A Malaysian LG fan has tweeted to official Twitter account of LG Electronics requesting it to bring the G3 to Malaysia. LG has respond him in a tweet as below:
@Jackson_XXI Thank you for your comment. LG G3 will be there soon. Have a good day.

Well according to LG Electronics, it seems that the G3 will be hitting Malaysian market soon. Given that we've missed out on the excellent smartphone from LG such as the G2, Nexus 5, G Flex and G Pro 2, perhaps that it's time for LG to make a comeback to Malaysian market.
The G3 sports a 5.5" Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) IPS display with 538 ppi of pixel density. Although it has a 5.5" display, the G3 boasts a screen ratio of 76.4% with thin bezels all around so the phone feels as comfortable in the hand as a smaller traditional smartphone.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. Interestingly, the 16 GB version G3 packs 2 GB of RAM while the 32 GB version packs 3 GB of RAM. Both versions are expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB.
At the back it has a 13 MP camera with OIS+. Next to it is a dual-LED flash and laser auto focus, which is first smartphone to have it. The laser auto focus is able to focus an object in just 276 ms, which is the fastest in mobile phone camera.
The LG G3 is a smartphone that we're excited to see. If it enters Malaysian market, Brightstar will be the offcial distributor to sell the device.
