HTC One (M8) and One (M7) will receive Android L update within 90 days

Google has just announced the Android L developer preview, which will be available for developers tomorrow. However the final version will be available after few months. Just before it, HTC has confirmed that the One (M8) and One (M7) users can expect to see the Android L updates start rolling out within 90 days of when the company receives the final version from Google.

Other unnamed One family members will also receive Android L update, alongside with select additional devices (probably would be the latest Desire lineup).

HTC did a great job recently on software update as the same 90-day commitment was done to the One (M7) last year when Google announced Android 4.4 KitKat. It seems that HTC will keep the promise just like last year.
