LG announces G3 Stylus, a G3 with stylus

LG has announced the G3 Stylus ahead of IFA 2014. The device is a mid-range phablet that comes with stylus and it has the same design as the flagship G3.


The device sports a 5.5" IPS display with qHD (540 x 960) resolution and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. The camera is still a 13 MP unit but the front camera is only 1.3 MP.

 

The G3 Stylus comes with Rubberdium stylus pen that feels comfortable in any hand and is perfect for effortless jotting, doodling and sketching with precision. The phablet comes with same features as the G3 such as Knock Code, Smart Keyboard and Dual Window. It also features Quick Memo+, Touch & Shot and Gesture Shot.

The device measures 149.3 x 75.9 x 10.2 mm and weighs 163 g. The 3,000 mAh battery is removable just like the G3.

The LG G3 Stylus is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG latest UX. It lacks of 4G LTE connectivity and will roll out will roll out the G3 Stylus in 3G markets starting in Brazil in September followed by countries in Asia, Middle East and Africa and CIS, with black, white and gold color options.

The device will showcase at upcoming IFA event alongside with the L Fino and L Bello. Unfortunately, it seems that Malaysian will only able to purchase it via grey import retailer in the future.
