The new Redmi Note 4G is same as the original Redmi Note but with additional 4G TDD-LTE network support thanks to the 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC.
It has the same 5.5" HD IPS display, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB expandable storage, 13 MP f/2.2 camera, 5 MP front-facing shooter and a 3,100 mAh battery.
Besides the change of processor, the Redmi Note 4G is now 10 g lighter and it only supports single-SIM slot. The device runs on MIUI V5 based on Android 4.4 KitKat, which the original Redmi Note don't have.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G will be available in China on August 12th for ¥999 (approximately RM 519). Hopefully we could see it in Malaysian market in the future.
