Xiaomi is launching LTE version Redmi Note tomorrow

Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, has teased something interesting on his Weibo account. According to him, the new Redmi Note with LTE connectivity will be announced tomorrow in its homeland, China.

The teaser image has shown the Redmi Note but one big change you can clearly see is the 4G icon appears at the notification bar, which clearly told us that the new Redmi Note with 4G LTE connectivity is coming tomorrow.

We're not surprised that Xiaomi will be launching refreshed version for the Redmi Note with additional LTE connectivity as it has been in the rumor mill for quite a while. We expect that the Redmi LTE is also coming soon.

The new Redmi Note will be lighter and faster, which means it probably will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC instead of MediaTek that found on original Redmi Note. We don't expect that there will be a lot of changes on its specs.
